The Spring Lions basketball team scored 48 points and limited the visiting Benjamin Davis Falcons to 34 in the Lions league triumph on Friday.

The Lions now possess a 14-16 record. They play next when they travel to Eisenhower for a 6A Region II District 14 game on Wednesday, January 22. Spring will confront a Eagles team coming off a 41-17 league win over MacArthur (Houston, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 3-17.

With the loss, Benjamin Davis falls to 5-16 on the campaign. The Falcons host Dekaney (Houston, TX) to confront the Wildcats in a 6A Region II District 14 game on Wednesday, January 22. The Wildcats go into the game with a record of 5-15. Dekaney lost 55-33 in their recent league game against Westfield (Houston, TX)
