The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Chopticon Braves (Morganza, MD) and the host Thomas Stone Cougars (Waldorf, MD), observed Chopticon's basketball team knock off Thomas Stone by a score of 41-33.

The Braves (5-6) will now prepare for their challenge against St. Charles (Waldorf, MD). The come into the Southern Maryland challenge with a 8-4 record. In their last challenge, St. Charles was knocked off by North Point (Waldorf, MD), 63-42, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Cougars encounter the Leonardtown Raiders (Leonardtown, MD) in a Southern Maryland challenge, on Wednesday, January 22. Thomas Stone will attempt to improve on its 4-6 season record. The Raiders come into the challenge with a 11-1 record after their 60-24 non-league win over North Stafford (Stafford, VA).
