Maryland High School Basketball - Chopticon succumbs to Great Mills

In Friday's league test, the Great Mills Hornets (Great Mills, MD) basketball squad defeated the visiting Chopticon Braves (Morganza, MD), by a final score of 50-42.

Next, the Hornets clash with the Lackey Chargers (Indian Head, MD) in a non-league test, on Monday, December 9. Great Mills will attempt to upgrade on its 1-0 season record. The Chargers come into the test with a 0-1 record after their 59-33 league loss to McDonough (Pomfret, MD).

The Braves (0-1) will now prepare for their test against Massaponax (Spotsylvania, VA). The Panthers come into the non-league test with a 0-3 record. In their last test, Massaponax went down by Granby (Norfolk, VA), 50-17, in a non-league test.
