Texas High School Basketball - Klondike overwhelms Grady
January 17, 2025: Lamesa, TX 79331 The Klondike Cougars basketball team scored 59 points and limited the visiting Grady Wildcats to 21 in the Cougars league triumph on Friday.
The Cougars now possess a 13-13 record. They play next when they travel to Sands for a 1A Region I District 6 game on Tuesday, January 21. Klondike will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 41-1 league win over Dawson (Welch, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 15-11.
With the loss, Grady falls to 9-13 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Loop (Loop, TX) to confront the Longhorns in a 1A Region I District 6 game on Tuesday, January 21. The Longhorns go into the game with a record of 8-9.
