With the victory, Grady upgrades its record to 8-10 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Sands (Ackerly, TX) to face the Mustangs in a 1A Region I District 6 match on Friday, January 10. The Mustangs enter the match with a record of 12-11. Sands lost 46-26 in their recent league match against Borden County (Gail, TX)
The Longhorns now sport a 7-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Klondike for a 1A Region I District 6 match on Tuesday, January 7. Loop will face a Cougars squad coming off a 37-27 league loss to Sands (Ackerly, TX). The Cougars record now stands at 8-12.
