The Chestnut Ridge Lions basketball team (New Paris, PA), was overwhelmed 72-39 in Wednesday's league battle with the visiting Bishop Guilfoyle Marauders (Altoona, PA)

The Marauders now possess a 12-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Shabach Christian Academy for a non-league battle on Saturday, January 21. Bishop Guilfoyle will confront a team coming off a 65-63 non-league win over Huntington Prep (Huntington, WV). The record now stands at 18-5.

The Lions (5-8) will now prepare for their battle against Westmont Hilltop (Johnstown, PA). The Hilltoppers come into the Laurel Highlands battle with a 7-5 record. In their last battle, Westmont Hilltop trounced Somerset (Somerset, PA), 100-69, in a league battle.
