Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Central can't hold off Bishop Guilfoyle
January 27, 2023: Altoona, PA 16602 The Bishop Guilfoyle Marauders basketball team scored 48 points and held the visiting Central Dragons to 43 in the Marauders league triumph on Friday.
The Marauders now sport a 13-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Richland for a Laurel Highlands contest on Wednesday, February 1. Bishop Guilfoyle will battle a Rams team coming off a 61-52 league loss to Somerset (Somerset, PA). The Rams record now stands at 8-9.
The Dragons (15-1) will now prepare for their contest against Greater Johnstown (Johnstown, PA). The Trojans enter the Laurel Highlands contest with a 15-1 record. In their last contest, Greater Johnstown nudged Westmont Hilltop (Johnstown, PA), 75-55, in a league contest.
