January 18, 2023: England, AR 72046 In Wednesday's league outing, the England Lions (England, AR) basketball squad beat the visiting Jacksonville Lighthouse Wolves (Jacksonville, AR), by a count of 67-53.
The Lions (9-7) will now prepare for their outing against Newport (Newport, AR). The Greyhounds go into the non-league outing with a 10-8 record. In their last outing, Newport defeated Cave City (Cave City, AR), 55-45, in a league outing.
The Wolves now hold a 3-12 record. They play next when they host Fountain Lake for a non-league outing on Wednesday, January 25. Jacksonville Lighthouse will clash with a Cobras squad coming off a 49-40 league loss to Morrilton (Morrilton, AR). The Cobras record now stands at 9-6.
