Arkansas High School Basketball - Jacksonville Lighthouse holds off Conway Christian
January 7, 2023: Jacksonville, AR Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Jacksonville Lighthouse Wolves (Jacksonville, AR) and the visiting Conway Christian Eagles (Conway, AR), saw Jacksonville Lighthouse's basketball squad hold off Conway Christian by a tally of 49-44.
With the victory, Jacksonville Lighthouse improves its record to 3-9 on the campaign. The Wolves travel to Mountain Pine (Mountain Pine, AR) to confront the Red Devils in a 2A Region 5 challenge on Tuesday, January 10. The Red Devils come into the challenge with a record of 4-2. Mountain Pine won 64-58 in their recent league challenge against Magnet Cove (Malvern, AR)
Next up, the Eagles confront the Cutter-Morning Star Eagles (Hot Springs National Park, AR) in a 2A Region 5 challenge, on Tuesday, January 10. Conway Christian will attempt to improve on its 3-3 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 10-4 record after their 62-46 league win over Poyen (Poyen, AR).
