The North Valleys Panthers basketball team scored 56 points and held the visiting Hug Hawks to 18 in the Panthers league triumph on Wednesday.

The Panthers now sport a 16-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fernley for a non-league contest on Friday, January 20.

The Hawks (1-8) will now prepare for their contest against South Tahoe (South Lake Tahoe, CA). The Vikings enter the 3A Northern - West contest with a 5-10 record. In their last contest, South Tahoe triumphed over Sparks (Sparks, NV), 40-10, in a league contest.
