The Hug Hawks basketball team (Reno, NV), was overwhelmed 59-21 in Wednesday's league battle with the visiting South Tahoe Vikings (South Lake Tahoe, CA)

The Vikings now possess a 8-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host North Valleys for a 3A Northern - West battle on Friday, January 27. South Tahoe will confront a Panthers team coming off a 69-51 league win over Wooster (Reno, NV). The Panthers record now stands at 17-4.

The Hawks (1-11) will now prepare for their battle against Truckee (Truckee, CA). The Wolverines come into the 3A Northern - West battle with a 5-14 record. In their last battle, Truckee trounced Sparks (Sparks, NV), 49-19, in a league battle.
