Ohio High School Basketball - River Valley knocks off Pleasant

The crowd at Saturday's league challenge between the River Valley Vikings (Caledonia, OH) and the visiting Pleasant Spartans (Marion, OH), observed River Valley's basketball team overcome Pleasant by a margin of 56-48.

The Vikings (10-2) will now prepare for their challenge against West Liberty-Salem (West Liberty, OH). The Tigers come into the non-league challenge with a 7-4 record. In their last challenge, West Liberty-Salem defeated West Jefferson (West Jefferson, OH), 38-27, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Spartans battle the Clear Fork Colts (Bellville, OH) in a Mid-Ohio - Red challenge, on Tuesday, January 21. Pleasant will attempt to better on its 6-8 season record. The Colts come into the challenge with a 5-9 record after their 47-46 league loss to Ontario (Ontario, OH).
