The River Valley Vikings (Caledonia, OH) basketball crushed the host Galion Tigers (Galion, OH), 77-41 in Friday's league bout.

The Vikings now possess a 17-2 record. They play next when they travel to Cardington-Lincoln for a non-league bout on Saturday, February 8. River Valley will play a Pirates team coming off a 72-55 league win over Mt. Gilead (Mt. Gilead, OH). The Pirates record now stands at 16-2.

With the loss, Galion falls to 7-13 on the campaign. The Tigers host Mansfield Senior (Mansfield, OH) to play the Tygers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 11.
