January 19, 2023: Ashton, IL 61006 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Fulton Steamers (Fulton, IL) and the host Ashton-Franklin Center Raiders (Ashton, IL), saw Fulton's basketball squad wallop Ashton-Franklin Center by a tally of 64-32.
With the victory, Fulton improves its record to 15-6 on the campaign. The Steamers host Riverdale (Port Byron, IL) to play the Rams in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 21. The Rams come into the challenge with a record of 11-7. Riverdale lost 59-55 in their recent league challenge against Monmouth-Roseville (Monmouth, IL)
Next up, the Raiders play the River Ridge Wildcats (Hanover, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 21. Ashton-Franklin Center will attempt to improve on its 11-9 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 11-8 record after their 66-48 league loss to Scales Mound (Scales Mound, IL).
