Illinois High School Basketball - Fulton trounces Amboy
January 31, 2023: Fulton, IL 61252 The Fulton Steamers (Fulton, IL) basketball crushed the visiting Amboy Clippers (Amboy, IL), 74-38 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Steamers (19-6) will now prepare for their test against Eastland (Lanark, IL). The Cougars go into the Northwest Upstate Illini - South test with a 14-11 record. In their last test, Eastland was trounced by Polo (Polo, IL), 46-41, in a league test.
The Clippers now own a 4-22 record. They play next when they travel to Forreston for a Northwest Upstate Illini - South test on Thursday, February 2. Amboy will encounter a Cardinals squad coming off a 55-50 league win over Milledgeville (Milledgeville, IL). The Cardinals record now stands at 9-15.
