The Melrose Buffaloes topped the host Logan Longhorns basketball team by a final score of 62-51 in Thursday's league game.

In their next game, the Buffaloes face the Grady Bronchos (Grady, NM) in a A District 6 game, on Tuesday, January 24. Melrose will attempt to move on its 13-4 season record. The Bronchos enter the game with a 5-9 record after their 68-35 league loss to Fort Sumner/House (Fort Sumner, NM).

With the defeat, Logan moves to 13-6 on the year. The Longhorns travel to Clovis Christian (Clovis, NM) to face the Eagles in a A District 6 game on Saturday, January 21.
