New Mexico High School Basketball - Melrose thwarts Grady
February 14, 2023: Melrose, NM 88124 The Melrose Buffaloes (Melrose, NM) basketball knocked off the visiting Grady Bronchos (Grady, NM), 69-50 in Tuesday's league test.
The Buffaloes (18-4) will now prepare for their test against Fort Sumner (Fort Sumner, NM). The Foxes/Vixens go into the non-league test with a 0-0 record.
The Bronchos now own a 7-12 record. They play next when they host Clovis Christian for a A District 6 test on Wednesday, February 15. Grady will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 55-53 non-league win over Dora (Dora, NM). The Eagles record now stands at 15-8.
