The Winthrop College Prep Academy Spartans basketball team (Riverview, FL), was toppled 34-26 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Indian Rocks Christian Golden Eagles (Largo, FL)

The Golden Eagles now possess a 8-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Universal Academy for a non-league battle on Friday, January 20. Indian Rocks Christian will confront a Falcons team coming off a 39-23 non-league loss to Academy at the Lakes (Land O' Lakes, FL). The Falcons record now stands at 5-10.
