The Indian Rocks Christian Golden Eagles basketball team scored 62 points and held the visiting Universal Academy Falcons to 45 in the Golden Eagles non-league triumph on Friday.
The Golden Eagles now sport a 8-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Northside Christian for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 24. Indian Rocks Christian will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 19-18 non-league win over Saint Stephen's Episcopal (Bradenton, FL). The Mustangs record now stands at 6-12.
The Falcons (5-11) will now prepare for their contest against Winthrop College Prep Academy (Riverview, FL). The Spartans enter the non-league contest with a 6-13 record. In their last contest, Winthrop College Prep Academy ran past All Saints' Academy (Winter Haven, FL), 48-4, in a non-league contest.
