Wisconsin High School Basketball - Ladysmith nips Spooner
January 19, 2023: Spooner, WI 54801 Ladysmith Lumberjacks (Ladysmith, WI) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Spooner Rails (Spooner, WI), 49-43 in a league bout.
With the victory, Ladysmith upgrades its record to 7-4 on the campaign. The Lumberjacks travel to St. Croix Falls (St. Croix Falls, WI) to play the Saints in a Heart O'North bout on Saturday, January 21. The Saints come into the bout with a record of 10-3. St. Croix Falls won 55-44 in their recent league bout against Northwestern (Maple, WI)
Next up, the Rails play the Cumberland Beavers (Cumberland, WI) in a Heart O'North bout, on Saturday, January 21. Spooner will attempt to upgrade on its 1-9 season record. The Beavers come into the bout with a 0-12 record after their 55-21 league loss to Barron (Barron, WI).
