January 19, 2024: Palm Bay, FL 32908 The West Shore Wildcats (Melbourne, FL) basketball nipped the host Bayside Bears (Palm Bay, FL), 49-43 in Friday's non-league test.
The Wildcats (8-8) will now prepare for their test against Brevard Christian (West Melbourne, FL). The War Eagles go into the non-league test with a 8-7 record. In their last test, Brevard Christian was tipped by Space Coast (Cocoa, FL), 41-20, in a non-league test.
The Bears now own a 4-10 record. They play next when they host Okeechobee for a 5A District 13 test on Monday, January 22. Bayside will encounter a Brahmans squad coming off a 37-36 non-league loss to South Fork (Stuart, FL). The Brahmans record now stands at 10-8.
