In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Sebastian River Sharks (Sebastian, FL) basketball squad edged the host West Shore Wildcats (Melbourne, FL), by a count of 46-43.

The Sharks (9-10) will now prepare for their outing against Cardinal Newman (West Palm Beach, FL). The Crusaders go into the 3A District 8 outing with a 16-5 record. In their last outing, Cardinal Newman held off St. John Paul II Academy (Boca Raton, FL), 75-69, in a non-league outing.
