Georgia High School Basketball - Brookwood over Tiftarea Academy
January 19, 2024: Chula, GA 31733 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Brookwood Warriors (Thomasville, GA) and the host Tiftarea Academy Panthers (Chula, GA), saw Brookwood's basketball squad overcome Tiftarea Academy by a tally of 63-51.
With the victory, Brookwood improves its record to 17-2 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Valwood (Valdosta, GA) to confront the Valiants in a GIAA AAAA/AAA District 3 challenge on Tuesday, January 23. The Valiants come into the challenge with a record of 9-5.
Next up, the Panthers confront the Fullington Academy Trojans (Pinehurst, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 22. Tiftarea Academy will attempt to improve on its 4-9 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 5-8 record after their 54-33 league win over Crisp Academy (Cordele, GA).
