Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Southwest Georgia Academy Warriors (Damascus, GA) and the visiting Tiftarea Academy Panthers (Chula, GA), saw Southwest Georgia Academy's basketball squad hold off Tiftarea Academy by a tally of 60-54.

With the victory, Southwest Georgia Academy improves its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Warriors host Westfield School (Perry, GA) to confront the Hornets in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 1. The Hornets come into the challenge with a record of 0-2. Westfield School lost 68-45 in their recent non-league challenge against Gatewood (Eatonton, GA)

Next up, the Panthers confront the Citizens Christian Academy Patriots (Douglas, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 1.
