Georgia Christian Generals (Valdosta, GA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Southwest Georgia Academy Warriors (Damascus, GA), 57-54 in a league bout.

With the win, Georgia Christian upgrades its record to 13-5 on the season. The Generals travel to Grace Christian Academy (Bainbridge, GA) to play the Cougars in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 6. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 6-11. Grace Christian Academy won 65-49 in their recent league bout against Fullington Academy (Pinehurst, GA)

Next up, the Warriors play the Brookwood Warriors (Thomasville, GA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, February 5. Southwest Georgia Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 9-11 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 22-2 record after their 53-48 league win over Southland Academy (Americus, GA).
