Georgia High School Basketball - Deerfield-Windsor trounces Terrell Academy
January 19, 2024: Albany, GA 31707 The Deerfield-Windsor Knights (Albany, GA) basketball crushed the visiting Terrell Academy Eagles (Dawson, GA), 54-28 in Friday's league test.
The Knights (13-5) will now prepare for their test against Westfield School (Perry, GA). The Hornets go into the non-league test with a 4-12 record. In their last test, Westfield School was trounced by St. Anne-Pacelli (Columbus, GA), 66-20, in a league test.
The Eagles now own a 7-8 record. They play next when they host Valwood for a GIAA AAAA/AAA District 3 test on Monday, January 22. Terrell Academy will battle a Valiants team coming off a 71-68 league win over Southland Academy (Americus, GA). The Valiants record now stands at 9-5.
