California High School Basketball - Middletown tops St. Helena
January 19, 2024: St. Helena, CA 94574 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Middletown Mustangs (Middletown, CA) and the host St. Helena Saints (St. Helena, CA), saw Middletown's basketball squad knock off St. Helena by a count of 55-47.
With the victory, Middletown upgrades its record to 13-7 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Rancho Cotate (Rohnert Park, CA) to play the Cougars in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 20. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 8-11. Rancho Cotate won 53-48 in their recent league challenge against St. Vincent de Paul (Petaluma, CA)
Next up, the Saints play the Elite Eagles (Vallejo, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 22. St. Helena will attempt to upgrade on its 14-5 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 14-4 record after their 76-69 non-league loss to Fortune Early College (Sacramento, CA).
