California High School Basketball - Middletown overwhelms Willits
January 3, 2024: Middletown, CA 95461 Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Middletown Mustangs (Middletown, CA) and the visiting Willits Wolverines (Willits, CA), saw Middletown's basketball squad wallop Willits by a tally of 74-49.
With the victory, Middletown improves its record to 10-5 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Clear Lake (Lakeport, CA) to confront the Cardinals in a North Central I challenge on Friday, January 5. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a record of 11-6. Clear Lake won 85-59 in their recent non-league challenge against Grace Christian Academy (Santa Rosa, CA)
Next up, the Wolverines confront the Cloverdale Eagles (Cloverdale, CA) in a North Central I challenge, on Friday, January 5. Willits will attempt to improve on its 6-8 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 9-8 record after their 67-52 league loss to Upper Lake (Upper Lake, CA).
