Alaska High School Basketball - Palmer tops Mountain City Christian Academy
January 19, 2024: Anchorage, AK 99504 Palmer Moose (Palmer, AK) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Mountain City Christian Academy Lions (Anchorage, AK), 55-37 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Palmer upgrades its record to 1-6 on the campaign. The Moose travel to Lathrop (Fairbanks, AK) to play the Malemutes in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 20. The Malemutes go into the test with a record of 6-7. Lathrop won 63-43 in their recent non-league test against Petersburg (Petersburg, AK)
The Lions now own a 5-8 record. They play next when they travel to Grace Christian for a non-league test on Friday, January 26. Mountain City Christian Academy will encounter a Grizzlies squad coming off a 40-33 non-league loss to Juneau-Douglas (Juneau, AK). The Grizzlies record now stands at 8-4.
