With the victory, Mountain City Christian Academy improves its record to 2-2 on the campaign. The Lions host Kotzebue (Kotzebue, AK) to play the Huskies in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 28. The Huskies come into the challenge with a record of 1-2. Kotzebue won 86-59 in their recent non-league challenge against Homer (Homer, AK)
Next up, the Bears play the Soldotna Stars (Soldotna, AK) in a 4A Northern Lights challenge, on Friday, January 5. Kodiak will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record. The Stars come into the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 56-22 non-league win over Kenai Central (Kenai, AK).
