January 19, 2024: Ruston, LA 71270 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Ruston Bearcats (Ruston, LA) and the visiting West Ouachita Chiefs (West Monroe, LA), saw Ruston's basketball squad wallop West Ouachita by a count of 73-25.
With the victory, Ruston upgrades its record to 13-7 on the campaign. The Bearcats host Arcadia (Arcadia, LA) to play the Hornets in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 23. The Hornets come into the challenge with a record of 8-10.
Next up, the Chiefs play the Oak Grove Tigers (Oak Grove, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 22. West Ouachita will attempt to upgrade on its 8-17 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 0-7 record after their 62-36 league loss to Rayville (Rayville, LA).
