Virginia High School Basketball - Cumberland ripped by Nottoway
January 19, 2024: Nottoway, VA 23930 The Nottoway Cougars basketball team scored 59 points and held the visiting Cumberland Dukes to 22 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Friday.
The Cougars now sport a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Randolph-Henry for a non-league contest on Monday, January 22. Nottoway will battle a Statesmen team coming off a 40-33 non-league loss to Appomattox County (Appomattox, VA). The Statesmen record now stands at 4-3.
The Dukes (2-6) will now prepare for their contest against Amelia County (Amelia Court House, VA). The Raiders enter the non-league contest with a 3-4 record.
