Minnesota High School Basketball - Cambridge-Isanti tops St. Francis
January 2, 2024: Cambridge, MN 55008 Cambridge-Isanti Bluejackets (Cambridge, MN) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting St. Francis Fighting Saints (St. Francis, MN), 95-86 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Cambridge-Isanti upgrades its record to 6-4 on the campaign. The Bluejackets travel to Centennial (Circle Pines, MN) to play the Cougars in a AAAA Section 7 bout on Friday, January 5. The Cougars come into the bout with a record of 4-8. Centennial lost 75-54 in their recent non-league bout against Osseo (Osseo, MN)
Next up, the Fighting Saints play the Big Lake Hornets (Big Lake, MN) in a AAA Section 5 bout, on Tuesday, January 9. St. Francis will attempt to upgrade on its 4-6 season record. The Hornets come into the bout with a 6-4 record after their 86-73 league win over Zimmerman (Zimmerman, MN).
