Iowa High School Basketball - Southeast Polk knocked off by Johnston
January 2, 2024: Johnston, IA 50131 The Johnston Dragons basketball team scored 71 points and held the visiting Southeast Polk Rams to 60 in the Dragons non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Dragons now sport a 5-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Indianola for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 6.
The Rams (3-6) will now prepare for their contest against Ankeny Centennial (Ankeny, IA). The Jaguars enter the Central Iowa Metro - East contest with a 7-2 record. In their last contest, Ankeny Centennial ran past Northwest (Waukee, IA), 57-53, in a non-league contest.
