Iowa High School Basketball - Ankeny fells Southeast Polk
December 5, 2023: Pleasant Hill, IA 50327 Ankeny Hawks (Ankeny, IA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Southeast Polk Rams (Pleasant Hill, IA), 76-59 in a league bout.
With the win, Ankeny upgrades its record to 3-0 on the season. The Hawks host Ames (Ames, IA) to clash with the Little Cyclones in a non-league bout on Friday, December 8. The Little Cyclones go into the bout with a record of 2-1. Ames won 64-21 in their recent non-league bout against Des Moines East (Des Moines, IA)
Next up, the Rams clash with the Northwest Wolves (Waukee, IA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 8. Southeast Polk will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Wolves go into the bout with a 1-3 record after their 72-61 non-league loss to Waukee (Waukee, IA).
