In Friday's league match, the host Allen Eagles basketball team scored a good 73-56 triumph over the Braswell Bengals.

In their next game, the Eagles encounter the Boyd Broncos (McKinney, TX) in a 6A Region I District 5 test, on Tuesday, January 24. Allen will attempt to advance on its 22-6 season record. The Broncos go into the test with a 17-8 record after their 58-51 league loss to Prosper (Prosper, TX).
