The Braswell Bengals basketball team scored 45 points and held the host Little Elm Lobos to 39 in the Bengals league triumph on Friday.

The Bengals now sport a 16-14 record. They put it on the line next when they host Prosper for a 6A Region I District 5 contest on Saturday, February 4. Braswell will meet a Eagles team coming off a 59-55 league win over Allen (Allen, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 14-15.

The Lobos (12-18) will now prepare for their contest against Rock Hill (Frisco, TX). The Blue Hawks enter the 6A Region I District 5 contest with a 15-11 record. In their last contest, Rock Hill was nudged by Boyd (McKinney, TX), 52-36, in a league contest.
