January 24, 2023: Little Elm, TX 76227 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the McKinney Lions (McKinney, TX) and the host Braswell Bengals (Little Elm, TX), saw McKinney's basketball squad overcome Braswell by a tally of 62-44.
With the victory, McKinney improves its record to 18-10 on the campaign. The Lions host Allen (Allen, TX) to confront the Eagles in a 6A Region I District 5 challenge on Friday, January 27. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 23-6. Allen won 61-49 in their recent league challenge against Boyd (McKinney, TX)
Next up, the Bengals confront the Guyer Wildcats (Denton, TX) in a 6A Region I District 5 challenge, on Friday, January 27. Braswell will attempt to improve on its 15-13 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 18-10 record after their 69-59 league win over Rock Hill (Frisco, TX).
