Texas High School Basketball - Prosper knocked off by McKinney
February 7, 2023: McKinney, TX 75069 The McKinney Lions basketball team scored 59 points and held the visiting Prosper Eagles to 51 in the Lions league triumph on Tuesday.
The Lions now sport a 20-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Little Elm for a 6A Region I District 5 contest on Friday, February 10. McKinney will battle a Lobos team coming off a 70-52 league loss to Allen (Allen, TX). The Lobos record now stands at 13-19.
The Eagles (14-17) will now prepare for their contest against Guyer (Denton, TX). The Wildcats enter the 6A Region I District 5 contest with a 20-12 record. In their last contest, Guyer was defeated by Boyd (McKinney, TX), 64-59, in a league contest.
