Texas High School Basketball - Little Elm can't hold off McKinney

The McKinney Lions basketball team scored 57 points and held the visiting Little Elm Lobos to 56 in the Lions league triumph on Friday.

The Lions now sport a 21-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rock Hill for a 6A Region I District 5 contest on Tuesday, February 14. McKinney will battle a Blue Hawks team coming off a 56-52 league loss to Allen (Allen, TX). The Blue Hawks record now stands at 15-14.

The Lobos (13-20) will now prepare for their contest against Guyer (Denton, TX). The Wildcats enter the 6A Region I District 5 contest with a 21-12 record. In their last contest, Guyer nudged Prosper (Prosper, TX), 74-52, in a league contest.
