In Friday's league outing, the Metea Valley Mustangs (Aurora, IL) basketball squad nipped the visiting DeKalb Barbs (DeKalb, IL), by a margin of 67-63.

The Mustangs (16-6) will now prepare for their outing against West Aurora (Aurora, IL). The Blackhawks go into the non-league outing with a 14-9 record. In their last outing, West Aurora was tipped by Romeoville (Romeoville, IL), 68-53, in a league outing.
