Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Hughesville can't hold off Warrior Run
January 20, 2023: Turbotville, PA 17772 The Warrior Run Defenders basketball team scored 53 points and held the visiting Hughesville Spartans to 51 in the Defenders league triumph on Friday.
The Defenders now sport a 6-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Loyalsock Township for a Heartland III contest on Tuesday, January 24.
The Spartans (7-7) will now prepare for their contest against Southern Columbia Area (Catawissa, PA). The Tigers enter the non-league contest with a 8-4 record. In their last contest, Southern Columbia Area nudged Mount Carmel (Mount Carmel, PA), 55-52, in a league contest.
