The North Central Hurricanes basketball team scored 82 points and held the visiting Opelousas Catholic Vikings to 27 in the Hurricanes league triumph on Friday.

The Hurricanes now sport a 3-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host False River for a 1A District 6 contest on Tuesday, January 24.

The Vikings (2-11) will now prepare for their contest against St. Edmund (Eunice, LA). The Fighting Blue Jays enter the 1A District 6 contest with a 11-4 record.
