North Carolina High School Basketball - South Mecklenburg knocked off by Palisades

The Palisades Pumas basketball team scored 63 points and held the host South Mecklenburg Sabres to 51 in the Pumas non-league triumph on Friday.

The Pumas now sport a 9-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ardrey Kell for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 24. Palisades will meet a Knights team coming off a 41-23 non-league win over Berry (Charlotte, NC). The Knights record now stands at 8-4.

The Sabres (1-10) will now prepare for their contest against Mallard Creek (Charlotte, NC). The Mavericks enter the non-league contest with a 12-2 record. In their last contest, Mallard Creek ran past West Charlotte (Charlotte, NC), 41-40, in a league contest.
