The Christ School Greenies basketball team (Arden, NC), was nudged 63-57 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Covenant Day Lions (Matthews, NC)

The Lions now possess a 14-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Charlotte Christian for a NCISAA Charlotte Independent battle on Tuesday, January 23. Covenant Day will confront a Knights team coming off a 52-46 league loss to Charlotte Latin (Charlotte, NC). The Knights record now stands at 5-16.

The Greenies (17-5) will now prepare for their battle against Carolina Day (Asheville, NC). The Wildcats come into the NCISAA Carolinas battle with a 4-9 record. In their last battle, Carolina Day was nudged by Wando (Mt. Pleasant, SC), 74-44, in a non-league battle.
