McKinney North Bulldogs (McKinney, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Sherman Bearcats (Sherman, TX), 61-30 in a league bout.

With the win, McKinney North upgrades its record to 25-1 on the season. The Bulldogs host Denison (Denison, TX) to play the Yellow Jackets in a 5A Region II District 10 bout on Friday, January 28. The Yellow Jackets go into the bout with a record of 17-10.

Next up, the Bearcats play the Denison Yellow Jackets (Denison, TX) in a 5A Region II District 10 bout, on Tuesday, January 25. Sherman will attempt to upgrade on its 7-19 season record. The Yellow Jackets go into the bout with a 17-10 record after their 53-43 league loss to Princeton (Princeton, TX).
