In Tuesday's league contest, the visiting Fort Davis Indians basketball team scored a close 48-43 triumph over the Big Bend Roadrunners.

The Indians (3-9) will now prepare for their contest against Marfa (Marfa, TX). The Shorthorns go into the 1A Region II District 9 contest with a 7-4 record. In their last contest, Marfa nipped Big Bend (Terlingua, TX), 30-28, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Roadrunners battle the Sierra Blanca Vaqueros (Sierra Blanca, TX) in a 1A Region II District 9 contest, on Friday, January 24.
