January 21, 2025: Roswell, NM 88201 Gateway Christian Warriors (Roswell, NM) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Dora Coyotes (Dora, NM), 48-37 in a league match.
With the victory, Gateway Christian upgrades its record to 6-5 on the year. The Warriors travel to Floyd (Floyd, NM) to face the Broncos in a A District 4 match on Thursday, January 23. The Broncos enter the match with a record of 4-7. Floyd won 41-36 in their recent non-league match against Hondo Valley (Hondo, NM)
The Coyotes now sport a 5-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Melrose for a A District 4 match on Thursday, January 23. Dora will face a Buffaloes squad coming off a 54-13 league win over Lake Arthur (Lake Arthur, NM). The Buffaloes record now stands at 12-2.
