Melrose Buffaloes (Melrose, NM) supporters left the game happy Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host Gateway Christian Warriors (Roswell, NM), 46-25 in a league match.

With the victory, Melrose advances its record to 19-3 on the year. The Buffaloes travel to Elida (Elida, NM) to meet the Tigers in a A District 4 match on Saturday, February 15. The Tigers enter the match with a record of 13-9. Elida won 54-44 in their recent league match against Dora (Dora, NM)

The Warriors now own a 11-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Elida for a A District 4 test on Tuesday, February 18.
