In Tuesday's non-league contest, the visiting North Central Knights basketball team scored a good 48-32 win over the Niobrara/Verdigre Cougars.

The Knights (7-7) will now prepare for their contest against Ainsworth (Ainsworth, NE). The Bulldogs come into the non-league contest with a 3-10 record. In their last contest, Ainsworth was topped by O'Neill (O'Neill, NE), 62-20, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Cougars battle the Wynot Blue Devils (Wynot, NE) in a non-league contest, on Monday, January 27. Niobrara/Verdigre will attempt to better on its 10-4 season record.
